However, AAP has dismissed this speculation.
As per media reports, AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar dismissed the rumours and stated that Kejriwal has no such plan. She added that the party will be focusing on the by polls in Punjab for the time being.

However, the party has now clarified that it would be making no such decision.

We will first focus on the bypoll and then Rajya Sabha. Congress and the Opposition are spreading rumours. I turn down the theory regarding Kejriwal as rumours," Garg was quoted as saying by India Today.
AAP is now trying to strengthen its hold in Punjab after its devasting loss in the Delhi Assembly elections.
AAP, which has been in power in the national capital for the past 10 years312bet1, faced a major loss against the BJP. The Bharatiya Janata Party replicated its Lok Sabha victory and won 48 seats in the assembly polls, leaving the Kejriwal-led AAP with 22 seats.
